1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Kaldex, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Kaldex is a credit card rewards optimization app. It connects to your financial accounts through Plaid to read transaction data and recommend which credit card to use for maximum rewards at each merchant and spending category. Kaldex does not provide financial advice, and recommendations should not be considered as such.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use Kaldex. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the app.

4. Financial Data and Plaid

Kaldex accesses your financial data through Plaid. By using Kaldex, you authorize us to retrieve your transaction information through Plaid's services. We can only read your transactions — we cannot move money, make payments, or access your full account numbers. Your use of Plaid is also subject to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy.

5. No Financial Advice

Kaldex provides informational recommendations based on publicly available credit card reward structures. This is not financial, investment, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. Reward calculations are estimates and may not reflect exact amounts due to variations in card issuer programs.

6. Accuracy of Information

We strive to maintain accurate credit card reward data for over 200 cards, 50 spending categories, and 100 merchant-specific rules. However, card issuers may change their reward programs at any time. Kaldex is not liable for inaccuracies in reward calculations resulting from program changes.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and functionality of Kaldex is owned by Kaldex (operated by Kaldex). You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Kaldex is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to missed rewards or incorrect recommendations.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Kaldex after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
